Well, as long as you know what you’re drinking.
Point is we’re launching our blog with an eye (and more than a few tastes buds) aimed at helping our readers get the most out of that daily dose of happiness we call coffee (or tea!).
Sure, we’ll have a focus on how to get the most out of your American Press. After all, if you don’t love your American Press, we won’t still be here to keep on blogging for very long. But we also believe what’s good for manual brewers and anything that helps folks slow down a little is good for us.
As you might have read in a quote from me featured in Inc. Magazine, I belive manual brewing is a great way to slow down and savor not just your coffee or tea, but life in general. So we’ll be here to help you make informed purchase decisions on manual brewers (whether it’s our own or not), and to share recipes, tips and tricks to wring the most flavor (and fun) out of your brewing rituals in pursuit of your own perfect cup.
Sometimes we may be here to share opportunities to geek out with us as we crowdsource input on our next big project or share engineering stories about the American Press’s DNA, or maybe just to share the latest fun fact about coffee.
It’s meant to be fun, informative and inclusive, and while what we’re here for may be a little random as different ideas percolate daily, we’ll never be here to tell you you’re doing it wrong, just to help you get the most out of whatever you’re brewing, from apocryphal guides to instant coffee to snobbery-free peeks into the finest cups in the world (so long as it doesn’t involve anything that’s been partially digested by a Civet…Eww).
Cheers & happy reading,
Alex
